Rabbits are a small member of the mammal family belonging to the order Lagomorpha and can be found in several parts of the world.

​

• Males are called Bucks with females known as Doe producing offspring known as kittens.

• Rabbits live in burrows called a warren producing several runs.

• Rabbits are an introduced North American species in the UK originally as game sport.

• Farmers crops are destroyed by rabbits and can cost thousands of thousands of pounds in damage.

• Control measures are by way of gassing or by means of shooting.
